Admission Procedure
Admission to our B.Ed. programme is conducted in a fair and transparent manner, managed by the state government to ensure merit and equity.
- Entrance Test: Candidates must appear for the Education Common Entrance Test (Ed.CET), conducted by the convener appointed by the Government of Telangana.
- Qualification: The minimum qualification to appear for the Ed.CET is a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university.
- Counseling: Based on the merit rank obtained in the Ed.CET, the convener conducts centralized online counseling.
- Allotment: Students are admitted into the college following the rules of reservation and procedures issued by the government from time to time.

This component includes a specified period of classroom teaching in real schools, participation in the academic and socio-cultural life of the school, and intensive preparatory exercises like demonstration lessons, micro-teaching, lesson planning, and science experiments.

Psychology Lab
Our well-equipped Psychology Lab allows for the practical study of educational psychology. It has facilities for up to 20 students to conduct experiments simultaneously and houses a wide range of apparatus, paper-pencil tests, and scales, including intelligence tests (verbal, non-verbal, performance), aptitude tests, creativity tests, personality scales, and interest inventories.
Computer Education Lab
The Computer Lab is equipped with modern systems, LAN, and high-speed internet connectivity. Students receive both theoretical and practical training in MS-DOS, MS-Windows, MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and techniques for using the internet for research. Individual attention is given to ensure every student becomes proficient in using technology for education.
Science Lab
Embracing the principle of “learning by doing,” our Science Lab is essential for effective science teaching. It contains multiple sets of apparatus to perform and demonstrate all experiments prescribed in secondary and senior secondary level Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, helping students develop scientific attitudes, application abilities, and practical skills.
Language Lab
The Language Lab plays a crucial role in developing communication skills. It is equipped with audio-visual aids like a radio, tape recorder, television, and DVD player to enhance listening skills. The lab also features charts, phonetic transcription symbols, language textbooks, magazines, dictionaries, and thesauruses to foster self-learning and mastery over language.

Our Regulatory Body: The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE)
Muduganthi Suryamma College of Education is proud to be recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The NCTE is a statutory body of the Government of India, established in 1995 to achieve the planned and coordinated development of the teacher education system across the country. Its primary objective is to regulate and maintain norms and standards in teacher education, covering all levels from pre-primary to senior secondary. Our adherence to NCTE guidelines ensures that our curriculum, faculty, and infrastructure meet the highest national standards, guaranteeing a quality education for our students.
